Logistics Advisory and Assistance Support
U-Tech was selected to support FORSCOM. United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) is the largest United States Army command. Headquartered at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, FORSCOM consists of more than 750,000 active Army, U.S. Army Reserve, and Army National Guard soldiers.
U-Tech supports the COMPASS program and Strategic Movements Enterprise, which is designed to assists in formulating and preparing movement planning guidance for subordinate commands involving mode transportability requirements as affected, limited or influenced by mode capabilities, equipment characteristics, and support Army efforts to assess and improve the strategic and operational deployment enterprise through HQDA Army Power Projection Program Priority Initiatives.
Our Subject Matter Experts (SME) on-site at Fort Bragg help FORSCOM plan the movement of units and equipment with the Computerized Movement Planning and Status System (COMPASS). We deliver studies, assessments, analysis and deployment data input and processing to enable FORSCOM to complete directed Army Power Projection Priority (AP3) tasks.
U-Tech supports FOSCOM COMPASS to perform the following tasks:
Providing accurate projected unit requirements for movement of personnel and combat power by surface, sea, and air in support of (Contingency and Operations Plan) in support of Combatant Commanders.
Providing technical and planning assistance to COMPO 1, 2, 3 unit movement officers through email and telephone.
Providing support to establishment of Installation Transportation Offices for COMPO 2 State Joint Force HQ ISO of HQDA Army Power Projection Program Priority Initiatives.
Business Process Maintenance and Development Services
U-Tech established and maintains a government approved viable and sustainable COMPASS Business Process.
U-Tech analyzes and evaluate data and information supplied by subordinate units on unit movement requirements.
U-Tech assists the Government Logistics Specialist and Government Transportation with improving the total Army production of Organizational Equipment List, Unit Data Lists validation using mission command systems.
U-Tech identifies and determines information required to assure that reported unit movement data is complete and accurate.
U-Tech interprets output from COMPASS, TC AIMS II, JOPES/JPES, and ITV Tracking systems and assure that reports are complete, accurate and are representative of unit movement requirement.
U-Tech provides recommendations to Government Logistics Specialist and/or Government Transportation Specialist in the evaluation of data processing requirements and the design of organizational processes and workflow plans to serve as a basis for computer programming specifications; and the testing of newly devised, updated or revised programs.
We met tasking deadlines at a rate of at least 95% to ensure FORSCOM senior leaders and the Strategic Movements enterprise have the information necessary to make informed decisions.
Example of Monthly Achievements:
Processed over 6800 lines of Movement Data in preparation and coordination of validating units Organization Equipment list. Also validated countless Unit Deployment list in direct support of real-world missions, including Hurricane Dorian disaster relief efforts (09/2019).
Processed a combined 20,400 Lines of Movement Data in preparation and coordination for validating units Organization Equipment List and supporting Africa Contingency Response, DEFENDER 20 (10/2019).
Processed a combined total of 70,000 lines of Movement Data in preparation and coordination of validating units Organization Equipment List and Unit Deployment List in preparation for the following missions. Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), SABER GUARDIAN, SABER JUNCTION and Operation Atlantic Resolve (EUCOM) (01/2020).
Processed a combined total of 100,000 lines of Movement Data in preparation and coordination of validating units Organization Equipment List and Unit Deployment List in preparation for the following missions. Instrumental in providing assistance in the rapid deployment of several Commands in support of COVID-19. Also have continued to support Operation Inherent Resolve, Operation Spartan Shield, Unified Focus, and Defender 20 (03/2020).
Managed seven active-duty installations, five reserve commands, and 10 National Guard States, ensuring they are all 100% deployable as well as processing data working with FORCOM Strategic moves, Active Component 1, 2, and 3 managing over 500 million short tons daily (07/2020).
